he had some moments long long before RedRobin that were dark. He had nightmares that darkness was coming for him. All those bad things that happened to him let that side take control

yeah! exactly, he had that in him the whole time, it just all coalesced when his life fell to pieces around that time.

so many people seem to resent that darkness he had in RR, and get angry because he wasn’t all nice and considerate and dorky and open, when HELLO COME ON of course he wasn’t! he was trying to deal with everything that was happening. his whole reality had shifted and he was trying to deal with it, of course he wasn’t NICE. I just really think his characterization in RR was not at ALL far from the reality of his character.

sighx2. i really think YJ was way more important than anyone gave it credit for. there are a lot minor, specifically POC superheroes that it gave a loooooooooooooot of visibility to, and it deserved much longer.

it still frustrates me that they had every opportunity to revamp her costume well in the reboot
