FRICKING HECK, DICK, YOU CAN’T JUST THROW YOURSELF OFF THE TOP OF WAYNE TOWER TO TEST IF THE FALL IS SURVIVABLE. Oh my god.

Poor Tim’s just like, the shit I have to deal with in this family…

[Gotham Knights 10]

Dick is likely Kalderash, since Yoska probably is and thinks he’s Dick’s grandfather.

Note that Bruce literally makes a “your people" comment here.

And note also that Barbara all but says “Dick, you are a grown-ass man.”

Bruce goes to a meeting in Metropolis, expecting Talia to be there. She isn’t.

When she returns, please tell Talia that I said I hope she — that is, tell her I’m sorry we couldn’t — no message.

“Indubitably.”

So Gotham Knights #18 remains one of my favorite issues of anything ever

lusilly:

It is too adorable for me to even function.

Dick/Babs:

(upon Bruce’s 5th call to Oracle in as many minutes)

Batman poking around the refrigerator:

Dick’s room(!!!) and some awfully sad Daddy Bats feelings:

Aquaman being sassy:

Aquaman/Batman small talk, (more) Dick/Babs and some Bruce/Selina:

Also - can’t you just hear his voice with that little “girlfriend”? lol. I’m sure Bruce thinks Babs is the best for Dick, but he’s a lil jealous. He never gets to hang out with his baby bird anymore.

And then the end is basically Aquaman and Batman hanging out. What more could you ask for in a comic book???

lusilly:

Bruce has a dream where his parents and Dick’s parents (and their fathers’ awesome moustaches) get into an argument, and then suddenly Jason shows up. D:

do you guys remember that time Bane was almost Bruce Wayne’s brother?

when I first read Gotham Knights I hadn’t read much else and so that was really the first time I read anything about Bane. and so that arc really defined his character for me. so. I probably have a pretty skewed view of him, haha.

As much as you may care about any of us, any of THIS, I know you’d trade it all in a heartbeat if you could have your parents back. And I’ve never really admitted this to anyone, but I don’t think I would. Trade, I mean. And I don’t think I’m ready to see your face if I TOLD you that. Which is why I’m never gonna send this letter. I miss my parents with my whole heart, Batman, I do. But I wouldn’t trade this for the world.

-love, Dick
