I picture them with Damian's back against the wall and Irey leaning on him. She has her index fingers in the belt loops on either side of his hips and is pulling their hips even closer while simultaneously pushing him back into the wall some. Like, she's not lifting him or anything but she's just holding their hips together. He has one hand on her hip, resting

somewhere buried deep in my Earth-28 tag I have some character backgrounds where I talk about the fact that Milagro started dating in like middle school (lol) and that she’s openly bisexual and kind of has this thing with this girl in high school, but she’s always busy with superhero stuff so doesn’t really have time for a relationship.
In terms of inter-team pairings, no, I don’t. Within the team, she and Chris have a really close, intense relationship, but it’s purely platonic (I should really call them my Platonic OTP because i secretly ship damian/lian sexytimes).

in Restoration I had Dami/Irey and now in this yet-unnamed sequel I have some major Damian/Ellen going on and like
its def a subplot. and especially in this second story, not even a central theme at all in this second story, except to say that she and him are really REALLY serious, it’s hardly even a plot at all, merely a state of being and a comment on how much this new Streets of Gotham team means to Damian. but idk. it’s a few years later but still it feels weird to have him always with somebody. can’t he be single for a while??? (no. he was actually with colin for a bit after iris but then they ended that because colin was starting to have a thing with lucas and damian was really upset that colin didn’t tell him ahahahhahehehhhehe)
edit: actually interesting fact about damian, he’s literally one of those kids who is hardly ever single. it’s interesting because he’s pretty insecure in relationships, but he’s also very extra insecure when he’s NOT in a relationship. like he feels very acutely alone when he’s not intimate with somebody, because he kind of holds everyone at arm’s length, so he needs like just one person he can really let in. yknow? he feels, like, incomplete in a way, if he’s not in a relationship with somebody. which is also partly exactly why he’s insecure in relationships as well. unf. damian ilu.
OK! Since there are so many questions about Earth-28 piling up in my ask, I thought I’d answer them all in one go!
- Is anyone on the team good at cooking? Or baking?
- How do you think Iris and Damian would react if they met Injustice!Damian?
- Can anyone on the team sing? Can anyone in the batfam sing? Or does everyone sound like dying cats?
- What would Damian think about Helena Wayne? Like it doesn’t even have to be the one in New 52, it could just be Selina getting pregnant with Bruce’s kid or if she already was pregnant and Helena is like 15 or something, how would Damian react to that? What would he think? What would he do? How would he act with her? How would Bruce and the other batboys feel about that?
- You mentioned something about maybe having your team meet other teams. Would they ever meet like other cartoon teams? Like maybe even the new JL from Beyond?

speech habit for damian: when he gets older (post-restoration) he tends to couch all of his language in terms of himself. “I need you to do this” or “I won’t let this happen” or “I want you to do this”
really what it is is a subtle form of emotional manipulation (reinforcing the idea that a person will let him down if they don’t do the Thing), which he knows and absolutely uses to his advantage, but people rarely call him out on it. Bruce doesn’t even see it, although it’s pretty transparent for Tim and Dick. it’s def a technique Damian developed specifically for when he’s speaking to Bruce, and it bleeds into all his serious interpersonal relationships hehe
Q:Irey doesn't know what she's expecting when Lian comes back from time traveling. Her mind runs through the idea that maybe the future is awful and Lian comes back with a hollowed look that crushes Irey spirit. Maybe the future will mature Lian and she'll come back and she'll seem older, wiser. When Lian /does/ come back, she looks starstruck. Irey doesn't know what to make of it, nor the sizzling kiss Lian gives her. "You wear a leather jacket," she says with a smile and the future looks bright.

i would never dream of putting that on one for Damian and Ellen. They don’t have a relationship like that. it’s much more…it’s much more focused on having a relationship, and working towards it, and working together and being there for each other. Where Damian/Iris was allllll about their love. you know? All about their passion and love and adoration for each other. But with Damian and Ellen, they’re much more focused on having a relationship and Real World Working and idk. it just. feelings.

Q:You are so going to regret saying I'm not bugging you, now I'm just gonna ask a lot of questions about your Earth-28 characters cause I have this almost unnatural fascination with other peoples headcanons and stuff, I think it's because I have like a billion different multiverses running around in my head. Anyways, what are Titans favorite TV show? And movies? What type of shows do they watch and what movie genre is their favorite? What do they think about like movies Twilight and Hunger Games?

Damian: a while ago on his blog Damian said this: “I don’t care much for films, but I am slightly partial to old movies, particularly Hitchcock. Vertigo and Shadow of a Doubt are my favorites. I also enjoy the work of Christopher Nolan and, more recently, I thought Life of Pi was excellent.” which is p much how I see him haha. And any movies that Carrie recommended to him (idk I’m thinking about sucking Carrie into Earth-28 because dAMiAn acTInG lEsSOns). Damian’s whole family watched Downton Abbey (Bruce and he literally bond over their mutual love for Downton Abbey) and Iris and Lian got Damian watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians and now he can’t stop. He watches it on his computer with his headphones plugged in, like he’ll just curl up in one of the rooms, maybe also with a sketchbook in hand, and watch like 5 episodes at a time ahahaha. It’s his comfort TV. and then sometimes he’ll be texting Iris while watching and they’ll laugh over it.
Like he said, Damian likes old movies, and he’s also secretly a fan of elegant, more sophisticated horror films. Particularly ones that are very violent. He won’t tell anyone or share this with anyone because he’s afraid they’ll think he’s just projecting – I mean, he’s afraid he’s just projecting – but he watches them a lot. Damian doesn’t watch much TV besides his specific shows (I’m positive he watches at least one fandom-heavy show, like Doctor Who or something).
I doubt Damian knows nor cares what Twilight is. He may have read The Hunger Games only because he reads so quickly and Iris really recommended it. I don’t think he would’ve liked it very much.
Iris: Iris can’t watch movies, they go too slowly for her. Reality TV and some stuff yeah she’ll watch, but she isn’t a huge fan bc they don’t keep her attention so well. Her fav TV show is probs Adventure Time and she’s probably cosplayed as Marceline at some point, and Jai as Finn (Lian probably came along as Princess Bubblegum!). Iris likes lots of cartoony, kids show things, mostly because her mind is moving so fast that she really just doesn’t have the patience for a lot of what’d you call more “grown up” TV shows (don’t think that she’s dumb or something, though – Iris is incredibly smart because she learns stuff instantly, and retains it, and many a villain have been foiled by thinking she’s not the brains of the team).
I would imagine Iris would be quick to judge Twilight and incredibly bored by The Hunger Games (although she loves Jennifer Lawrence).
Lian: first off, shut up, Lian had a Twilight phase. And later a Hunger Games phase (which isn’t nearly as bad). The Twilight phase came when she was like 12ish and still figuring out if she liked girls, and she found that she was way more attracted to Alice than anyone else in the books (fyi i have actually read all the Twilight books so I know in detail like what all the kids would think about it lol). And she thought like, damn, if she wasn’t attracted to Jacob then she wasn’t attracted to any boys, haha. I can’t decide if Lian identifies with Katniss or has a total crush on her. Maybe a bit of both? Because Katniss is an archer just like herself and stuff.
Lian likes horror movies, but cheap thrills compared to Damian’s tastes. Gore. And thrillers and mysteries, too. Occasionally she will weep over rom-coms but mostly she doesn’t like them all that much. Lian is actually a big movie aficionado in general, she has marathons with her dad all the time. Her favorite TV shows are probably one of the many procedural cop shows. She and her dad probs watch NCIS religiously. Roy is a lot like Tony and Lian likes Ziva (haha I watch NCIS religiously with my mom so sorry if this is me identifying with Lian i cant help it).
Chris: like I’ve said before, Chris never fully assimilated into Earth culture, so he’s not that big into movies and TV. At least once, he and the Titans (or maybe just Damian idk) have watched some action movies and stuff, but he’s just not all that interested. I don’t think he knows what Twilight or the Hunger Games are at all haha.
Milagro: another Twilight phase, shhhhh. Team Jacob, as well. But it was brief, and now she’s ashamed of it. Milagro likes comedies and rough action movies. Her fav movie is probably Bridesmaids and she likes stuff like How I Met Your Mother and New Girl.
Jai: Like Iris, loves Adventure Time and all those Cartoon Network type shows (big fan of Gravity Falls and idk what’s that other one called? The Regular Show). Also watches Korean dramas and gets into them a way Iris doesn’t. Like he’ll watch them on his laptop before he goes to bed. Hates Twilight, but actually really likes the Hunger Games.
Sin: watches movies with Lian, any TV shows Dinah watches (idk I see her as loving the food channel, and maybe Animal Planet and stuff). I bet Dinah tried to get her into Hunger Games because they have an Awesome Female Protagonist. Those were probably some of the first longer books she read in English.
Maxy: once again lol who cares about Maxy. I might just take her out of these things in the future. She likes Nickelodeon live action shows, cartoons like Avatar: The Last Airbender, and funny rom-com ish movies. Probably moderately likes both Twilight and the Hunger Games.
Q:Piggy-backing off of keira-kane's question. Who do you think everyone on the team idolizes most? Not like their parent or anything, another superhero. Maybe not even one they know, just one they admire.

Damian: Damian is a really interesting case, because my knee-jerk reaction would be to say Bruce, but that’s not necessarily true is it? idk, I know that he idolized his father back when he was with his mother, but once they actually met, he was at first let down, but then after Bruce returned, he realized how deeply he respects his father. But! I don’t really think Bruce would be the person he admires most. I don’t think Damian aspires to be like his father, not precisely. There are too many differences between them. My second choice would obvs be Dick Grayson. I may have to go with Dick, yeah, because…I mean, do I even have to explain this one? Dick was the first person, ever, who really knew Damian, who really got to know who he is, how he worked, what he wanted. Their partnership was not perfect, and Damian constantly complains about stuff, but I don’t think there’s anyone Damian admires or respects or looks up to more than Dick. He can share things with Dick he can’t share with anybody, not even Iris. When Bruce was gone and Damian was Dick’s Robin, I think Damian definitely saw Dick as more of a father than Bruce (partly because Talia always taught Damian that Batman was his father, more so than Bruce Wayne, so when Dick stepped into Batman’s shoes, Damian couldn’t help having fatherly feelings associated with the role). I wish I could think of something more complicated, some obscure person he looks up to, but it’s true. Dick Grayson is Damian Wayne’s model for Goodness. Dick is a Good Person, and someone that Damian absolutely looks up to, complete.
