Today we went into London and visited the V&A and FOUND THE SOCKS
UGH I AM SO PLEASED
they are much much smaller than they look in the picture, but it was very very very gratifying to find them. Like, wow, they really just blew me away. They’re so simple, SOCKS, but that’s what makes them so amazing. Socks are such a presence in every day life that we tend to think of them as modern inventions, but they are not - these are almost 2,000 years old. Wowowowwooww.
Also it was good to hang out with Andrea and Sarah, I haven’t seen them in six months. It was nice.

You know, it’s officially three years to the day that I finished FMA. Three years ago I was sitting on my bed, watching the last few episode (well not exactly, I finished at midnight), and crying my eyes out. I remember cause I watched it during this three day weekend, and because I’ve written it down. It’s crazy how much one weekend can change your life.
Anyways this weekend I’ve been okay I guess I was productive yesterday and you know I’m finding more and more ways to entertain myself with the internet
see who needs friendsand working on crafts and stuff. I’m really frustrated because yesterday was KCON and my favorite K-Pop group was here in LA and I had a ticket and everything but long story short I had no way of getting there so pretty much I had to waste my ticket (no refunds) and not go and it’s so annoying because you got to meet the idols there at KCON like seriously and see them perform live and I missed out all because I don’t have friends or a drivers license. Two things I’ve tried so hard at and failed so miserably at. But whatever. So mostly I’ve just spent my weekend in my room, chilling, on tumblr, doing hdubs, working on crafts, watching stuff. The usual.Next week will be okay because CHEM LAB IS CANCELLED HALLELUJAH!! And since my freshman seminar is canceled too on thursday I HAVE NOTHING ON THURSDAY. Then on Friday my mom arrives because next weekend is fall break so we get Monday and Tuesday off as well and so my mom, bro, and I are going on a trip to San Diego and it’s gonna be so nice to see her again, eat actual meals again, be free from this place, etc. I just need to hold out a few more days.
So yeah, EXCITING!!! WOOOO

WOOHOO EXCITING. Can’t believe it’s October already! MUN starts in two weeks!!!! I can submit my UC app come November 1st, and believe me, it’s so ready omg. So pleased. SO PLEASED THINGS ARE OK<3<3<3

altho i do have to read some Phaedo. I have an essay due on The Last Days of Socrates on Friday! right before TRAVEL WEEK WUP WUP. Excited to go to Greece. I mean, I’m excited for the history n stuff you know, and I generally think breaks frmo Tumblr from time to time are good for me, and I’m in need of one lately so is a good thing! I will enjoy sort of being by myself and stuff.
