OK COLLEGE REALTALK

I want to go into political science. My dad wants me to go into law after that, but I’m not 100% sure that I can do that. I want to be involved with organizations and be active in causes I believe in. I want to get into, specifically, Californian politics and I’m going to a Californian school.

I’ve been looking at UCLA and UC Berkeley the most; I saw something about UCLA polisci that said that it was good for education but really you get no marketable skills. I’m worried that a polisci major anywhere won’t GET me anywhere, and as much as I love education I can’t do college just to learn for the sake of learning; I want to get a job. I want to DO things but I have no idea how or what or whatever.

So I guess my questions are:

  • a) do I go into polisci?
  • b) UCLA or UC Berkeley or something else?
  • c) OTHER GOOD COLLEGES HERE IN CALIFORNIA PLS HELP ME
